Prior to joining the financial services industry, I spent 21 years working at AstraZeneca in a range of roles. As a consequence, I have experience in the manufacturing and supply chain world as well as working in small businesses and on a self employed basis. This helps with the understanding that I have for client’s specific financial requirements – whether these be personal or corporate.
Whilst working at AstraZeneca I built up a portfolio of buy-to-let properties, so I have very real experiences (both good and bad!) about this area. This process also increased my knowledge and interest in the financial arena.
I am a Chartered Financial Planner and have achieved the highest qualifications available within the PFS – Fellow of the Personal Finance Society.
In line with my professional background, I have focussed on developing specialist knowledge. As a representative of St. James’s Place Wealth Management, my service is enhanced and complemented by the provision of advice covering the areas of investment planning, protection, Inheritance Tax planning and retirement strategies.
Fundamentally I see my approach as one of ongoing financial planning for the client - rather than product-selling. As a result, my clients can expect to receive the most comprehensive and appropriate advice at all times.
The value of an investment with St. James's Place will be directly linked to the performance of the funds you select and the value can therefore go down as well as up. You may get back less than you invested.
